Cocktail Dress anyone?

No weigh in this week.... you know the policy on periods...

But I have a fundraiser to attend tonight and I needed a cocktail dress.  I must say that NEVER in my life have I purchased a cocktail dress.  I have worn what Lane Bryant had to offer - but NEVER EVER a real cocktail dress.  Tonight, when I put it on, I will take a picture and post tomorrow.  But let me just say, the experience was fun.  I bought a size 8 Calvin Klein dress.... thrilling to say the least!!

Here are some pics of the dresses I did not select ;)

Waxing on Weight

I like the whole "where you feel good" theory to identifying an ideal weight - except that every spot under 200 pounds has felt that way to me.  I never in my life time imagined weighing less than 199 lbs.  I also like the idea of achieving a weight that is sustainable.  Could I get down to 120?  Maybe, but sustaining that could possibly be misery, and who needs that?

All this taken into account, I'm good.  I'm good where I am at.  I am happy and comfortable.  And it seems very sustainable.  I am not working at losing weight - I work out because I like to not because I feel like I have to.  I like my clothes.  My feet and knees don't hurt.  I have a normal BMI for the first time in maybe 30 years.  I'm good ;)

Jane!! Stop this crazy thing.....

What should I weigh?  Seriously.

Today's Weight:  151.8
Total Weight Lost To Date:  134.2
Time Since Surgery:  15 months

People's Choice:  136lbs
Medical Recommendation:  118-155lbs
Metropolitan Life:  133-147lbs
Health Central:  142-156lbs
Centers for Disease Control:  115-154lbs

Average all these numbers, and you get 139.5 lbs

So... that's 12 lbs from now.  BUT, the plastic surgeon told me to consider the weight of my skin that will be removed during the tummy tuck which he estimates to be 8lbs.  If I do that, then I should weigh, pre-op, no less than 148 lbs.  If this theory is flawed, PLEASE let me know.  But if it is not, how do I stop this?  Get an unfill?  If so, how much of an unfill?  Eeeekkk....I don't even know how to process this.  That's 3 lbs from now.  More or less a month from now.... do I make an appointment?  Do I sound crazy to you all?  Am I, indeed, crazy?
